5. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts (local hosting)

This site uses what are known as web fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. These Google Fonts are installed locally. No connection is made to Google servers in the process. 6. Specific services for holiday apartments

Smoobu (booking system)

We use the booking widget and website builder from Smoobu (Smoobu GmbH, Wriezener Str. 12, 13055 Berlin, Germany) on our website. This allows you to make booking enquiries directly on our website and to make binding bookings. When you use the booking tool, the data you enter (name, address, email address, telephone number, payment details and travel dates) is transmitted directly to Smoobu's servers and processed there.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the performance of the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. To ensure processing in compliance with data protection law, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Smoobu GmbH.

Payment processing (Stripe / PayPal)

To process payments (for example deposits), the booking system uses integrated payment service providers.

Stripe: if you choose to pay by credit card or another payment method offered via Stripe, your payment data will be passed on to Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. 7. Consent management and statistics

Storing your privacy choice

When you first visit this website we ask whether we may collect anonymous visitor statistics. Your choice is stored exclusively in your own browser (in local storage, under the key “strandloft-consent”). No cookie is set and no data is transmitted to us or to third parties. This storage is technically necessary so that the question does not reappear on every page view (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can withdraw or change your decision at any time via the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.

Hosting via Cloudflare Pages

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Germany GmbH (Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany; parent company: Cloudflare, Inc., USA) on the “Cloudflare Pages” platform. When you access the website, technically necessary connection data – in particular your IP address – is transmitted to Cloudflare in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and fast provision). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; the European Commission's standard contractual clauses are used for transfers to third countries. Cloudflare Web Analytics (only with your consent)

If you have consented to statistics, we use “Cloudflare Web Analytics” to understand how many people visit our website and which pages are of interest. This service works explicitly without cookies and without recognising individuals across visits; no profiles are created and no data is passed on to advertising networks. Only aggregated information is recorded, such as pages viewed, approximate region of origin, device type and the referring website. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time via the privacy settings in the footer.

External content in the booking section

To display availability and prices we embed the booking tool from Smoobu (see section 6). When the page loads, a connection is established to Smoobu's servers and to the content delivery network cdnjs.cloudflare.com, transmitting your IP address. This is necessary so that you can book directly with us; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. According to our checks, no cookies are set in the process.
