How does check-in work?
Nice and easy, with self check-in: you receive all the details before you arrive, by email or through the booking platform you used. Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 10 am – other times are often possible on request and subject to availability.
Is there free parking?
Yes! A space in our underground car park is reserved for you free of charge. Alternatively you can park along Hofer Strasse.
How many people can stay in the apartment?
The STRANDLOFT is a 32 m² apartment for up to 2 adults – ideal for couples, solo travellers and business guests. A baby is very welcome too: a travel cot and high chair are provided free of charge, and there is a small playground in the courtyard.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, bed linen and towels are of course included. Coffee, tea and organic spices are provided as well.
Are pets allowed?
No, unfortunately pets are not permitted in the apartment.
Can I use the sauna and gym?
Right next door at Villa Energy you will find a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, massages, a gym and classes. You book these on site directly with Villa Energy (fees apply).
Can I stay longer – for work, for example?
Absolutely. With a kitchen, washing machine and work desk, the STRANDLOFT is ideal for stays of several weeks or months. Just ask us about our long-stay rates.
What is the accommodation tax in Chemnitz?
Since 2024 the City of Chemnitz has levied an accommodation tax of 5% of the overnight rate for guests aged 18 and over. We are required to collect it and pass it on to the city. Children and young people under 18 are exempt; further exemptions apply, for example to stays for training purposes or medically necessary treatment – just get in touch with us about this.
